A Horrific Betrayal of Trust!

Insight Into Evil!
A man who raped and indecently assaulted a five-year-old boy has been jailed for 10 years. Darren Hilton, 26, of Tarnbrook Drive, Blackpool, abused the child on three different days in 1999 when he was living in Huyton, Merseyside.
The three-day trial at Liverpool Crown Court heard that the attacks came to light in April this year.
The boy's mother alerted social services after she noticed a change in her son's behaviour.
Raymond, Herman, prosecuting, said that the attacks happened in an alleyway near the child's home.
Hilton told the child he would be sent to a "naughty boys' home" if he told anyone about the abuse.
Hilton denied the offences, and was convicted of one rape and four indecent assault offences.
Mr Justice Hilton said that the abuse, was "quite clearly still etched" in the boy's memory.
He added: "This is a very serious case."
Hilton was also placed on the Sex Offenders' Register for life.

HEARING FROM THOSE AFFECTED
For those who've never been subjected to abuse can never really understand the impact that it has on the lives of those affected whether it be the man/woman abused, or the families involved.
Below, is an impact example on the mother affected, and how her life changed forever:
The devastating impact abuse has on the lives of anyone who has been subjected to any form of child abuse is unfathomable, soul destroying, and very much so life changing; in the year of 1999, many lives changed forever after a victim suffered systematic abuse at the hands of a vile fiend, with the most awful betrayal of trust that leaves any sane human being with a chilling sense of disbelief, disgust, and anger. Below, are parts of a heartbreaking story from real life events. After speaking with the victim's mother, she has courageously allowed us to write about her side of the awful events which have caused catastrophic damage, not just to her family, but the predator's family too.
The mother of a young boy lives her life in a sense of "surviving day by day", moving forward with hopeful positivity, living with memories that nobody should ever have to live with, or even imagine living with. "I don't live in fear anymore", stated with so much defiance, and pride knowing that the stolen years were behind her, and that she was now free, and at least be able to live without the shackles of haunting memories.
"Two sons, who are now honest, hard-working, well educated men are already aspiring to become fine standing members of society; one, who's working on the nuclear subs in the Navy, and the other who works as a support worker in mental health", she stated with pride.
"Day by day living with a sense of guilt, living like a recluse with an empty feeling, seclusion from family and friends, incarcerated into a daily mental battle".
It's fair to say that the abuse inflicted on everyone involved always plays a part in your life no matter how much you put it to the back of your mind.
"I'll never blame anyone for what happened, only myself and Hilton as I let him into my home. I have to live with the shame, the blame and the guilt, "
which typifies this whole statement, and it creates heartache in even the most heartless of people, and a feeling of irrepairable damage caused by a now convicted rapist who's on the sex offenders register for life, and who has since been released after a 10 year custodial sentence in prison.
Now "suffering from PTSD, and bi-polar", it is believed that the level of suffering is a result of the trauma experienced from 1999, and later into the years upon finding out the most horrifying levels of abuse imaginable inflicted on her very own son. "My youngest son continues to support me throughout everything no matter how difficult times get, or how dark my thoughts go which is testament to him as a man".
The harsh realities of living in a Police State is that often the victims feel like the offenders. You couldn't imagine those moments coming face to face with the predator who caused unimaginable pain to your loved ones, only living in Blackpool, the same town as the offender the chances are high.
"I'm not allowed to approach him or I'll get done for harrassment".
Protection for those who deserve absolutely nothing; parents, families, carers, and children should all be made aware of those who harbour twisted ambitions towards the most vulnerable, especially those convicted of such heinous crimes.
I'd just like to credit the courage of the mother who shared her side of the events with me personally, and it's been an absolute honour writing on your behalf.
